SECOND YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS

The Custer County Educational Foundation is pleased to announce that we awarded 48 graduating CCDHS seniors each with a $1,200 scholarship and 1 Nibs and Edna Allen Foundation $4,000 4 year renewable scholarship at the 2014 CCDHS graduation ceremonies for a total of over $61,600.

In addition to these scholarships we have awarded 17 $1,200 scholarships to CCDHS students who have finished their freshman year at college and are continuing on with their sophomore year. This is the third year we were able to award these second year scholarships and we hope to continue that in the future. The recipients of the second year scholarship are:

The foundation would like to acknowledge that this is all possible through the generous contributions from the annual Dollars for Scholarships phone a thon, along with private contributions and endowments from residents and former residents of Miles City, as well as the Nibs and Edna Allen Foundation. It is clear to us that helping our young students continue their education has become a priority. The foundation is a nonprofit 501 c (3) organization with an all-volunteer board of directors dedicated to supporting our students.
